Elizabeth Løvegal

Elizabeth Løvegal established the handmade skincare company in 1983 on Bornholm at Brændesmark Urtegaard, inspired by her mother's coldcream recipe with rose water, as a counter-movement to the commercial skincare industry.

The founder grows organic medicinal plants in her own herb garden on Bornholm, hand-harvests and dries them, and produces small series of skincare from old recipes — positioned as a natural, chemistry-free counter-movement to the commercial skincare industry.
