Überblick
Founder Antonio Alcántara emigrated from Málaga to France; on returning, his wife Ana España's hairdressing career drew him into professional cosmetics, and in the early 1980s he took control of the company where he worked, founding Alcántara España, S.A. in late 1984 to serve hairdressing and beauty professionals.

40th anniversary celebrated on 29 November 2025 at Palacio Arzobispo Fonseca, Salamanca, with a homage to founder Antonio Alcántara and national/international distributors↗
